IoT Gateway Firmware v2.1 Released

What's new

Version 2.1 of the IoT Gateway firmware ships with a handful of fixes and quality-of-life improvements based on field feedback.

Improved reconnection logic

The gateway now backs off exponentially on failed broker connections instead of retrying at a fixed interval. This prevents log spam and reduces load on the broker during outages.

Lower idle power draw

Sleep thresholds have been tuned, reducing idle current consumption by roughly 15% in typical deployments.

MQTT keep-alive configuration

The keep-alive interval is now configurable via the web UI rather than requiring a firmware rebuild. Default remains 60 seconds.

Upgrading

Flash the new image via the web UI under System → Firmware Update. No configuration migration is needed from v2.0.
