One practical connection point at the edge
Okrånglig Gateway is being developed as a small, rugged edge computer for industrial sensor networks. It brings connected devices together and provides a local place to handle data, integrations and application logic.
The goal is simple deployment: one cable for power and network access, local processing where it is useful, and wireless connectivity for nearby sensors.

What we are exploring
Sensor connectivity
Bluetooth—including GATT, Mesh and IPv6—and 802.15.4 protocols such as Thread, Zigbee and Matter.
Single-cable installation
Power and 100 Mbps network access over up to 100 metres through one PoE connection.
Local processing
Edge-side application logic and buffering, close to the devices producing the data.
Maintained in the field
Designed for remote security updates and continued feature delivery after installation.

Commission devices with a tap
A headless gateway still needs a good human interface. Blippa turns an Android phone into that interface when it is needed, using NFC to configure the gateway and connect devices without adding screens, buttons or service cables.
